Dow Jones lays off another 150 staffers

New York--Dow Jones & Co. Inc., the publisher of The Wall Street Journal, on Thursday cut an additional 150 jobs just three days after the company laid off 16 editorial staffers and three months after 225 employees were let go. All told, the cuts, part of the company's ongoing efforts to slash costs amid declining advertising revenues, amount to a 5% reduction of Dow Jones' work force. Though May advertising lineage was down 34% at the flagship Journal.
