Dow Jones Newsletters launches weekly on hedge fund industry

Published on .

New York—Dow Jones Newsletters on Monday launched a weekly publication covering the white-hot hedge fund industry.

Hedge Fund Trades targets hedge fund managers, prime brokers, institutional investors, mutual fund managers and other market participants. Its coverage focuses on current hedge-fund transactions, analysis of completed investments and an overview of hedge fund opportunities managers are looking to capitalize on.

Meanwhile, in a reflection of Dow Jones continuing financial struggles, Standard & Poor’s Rating Services on Friday placed its A- long-term credit and senior unsecured debt ratings on Dow Jones & Co. on CreditWatch, with negative implications. At the same time, Standard & Poor’s affirmed its A-2 short-term corporate credit and commercial paper ratings on the business news and information provider.
