Dow Jones obtains database of European private companies

New York—Dow Jones & Co., a division of News Corp., have announced that it has acquired the database assets of Library House, a Cambridge, U.K.-based provider of data on emerging private companies in Europe.

“With the addition of the assets acquired from Library House, we are solidifying Dow Jones VentureSource’s status as the world’s most comprehensive and accurate research tool for monitoring developments in the venture capital industry,” Clare Hart, president of Dow Jones Enterprise Media Group, said in a statement.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed
