Dow Jones Online taps McLeod to be president

New York—Dow Jones Online, the Internet business of Dow Jones & Co., has named Gordon McLeod president. McLeod was previously general manager of Time Inc. Interactive, where he oversaw Web sites for more than 80 Time Inc. titles. In his new position, which he takes Sept. 11, McLeon will be responsible for Dow Jones’ online businesses, including The Wall Street Journal Online, MarketWatch.com and Barron’s Online.
