Dow Jones raises fourth-quarter earnings estimate

New York--Dow Jones & Co. raised its fourth-quarter earnings guidance Wednesday but cautioned that it doesn't yet see a "sustainable ad recovery." The publisher of The Wall Street Journal said it now expects to report fourth-quarter earnings before items of about 25 cents a share. The previous estimate was for earnings of 15 cents to 20 cents a share, compared with 34 cents a share a year earlier.
