Dow Jones relaunches Barron’s Online as stand-alone subscription product

New York—Dow Jones & Co. has relaunched Barron’s Online as a stand-alone subscription product.

The Web site ( had previously been included as part of a Wall Street Journal Online subscription.

Barron’s Online currently has more than 45,000 paid subscribers, according to Dow Jones. In an effort to generate new subscriptions, it is planning to hold an ‘Open House’ from Feb 11.-18, when the site will be accessible for free.
