Dow Jones relaunches Barron’s Online as stand-alone subscription product

New York—Dow Jones & Co. has relaunched Barron’s Online as a stand-alone subscription product. The Web site had previously been included as part of a Wall Street Journal Online subscription. Barron’s Online ( currently has more than 45,000 paid subscribers, according to Dow Jones. In an effort to generate new subscriptions, it is planning to hold an Open House from Feb 11.-18, when the site will be accessible for free.
