Dow Jones sells Screaming Media to YellowBrix

Alexandria, Va.—Business information company YellowBrix announced it has acquired Screaming Media from News Corp.’s Dow Jones & Co.

Screaming Media provides business news to Internet and wireless services. YellowBrix said it will acquire product lines, customers and content services under the Screaming Media brand. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

“The acquisition further extends YellowBrix’s reach into the corporate community and will continue to strengthen our position as a leading provider of targeted business news and syndicated information solutions to the corporate market.”
