The awards, named after famed copywriter John Caples, are bestowed on the best creative direct marketing campaigns. There were 90 winners in all.
20:20 London and BMF Agency each won four awards, and I DO, OgilvyOne Worldwide and Wunderman each took home three.
The Caples Maxwell Sackheim Best in Show Award was given to I DO, a Brussels, Belgium-based agency, for its “Cyriel (84) Needs a Job” b-to-b direct mail piece targeting HR managers.
The Irving Wunderman Award for lifetime creative achievement went to Marcio Salem, president of São Paulo, Brazil-based ad agency Salem.
