Draftfcb shifts media to Mediabrands

New York—Under a reorganization by Interpublic Group of Cos., Draftfcb's media department will be absorbed by sibling agency Mediabrands, New York. Draftfcb, which currently handles media for b-to-b clients including Boeing Co., Dow Chemical Co. and Microsoft Corp., said the reorganization is not expected to result in any layoffs. Its current media staff of about 50 will be merged into Mediabrands. Draftfcb will continue to focus on creative, digital and CRM.
