DuBois tapped as new IAEE CEO

Dallas—David DuBois, CEO of the Fort Worth (Texas) Convention and Visitors Bureau, has been named president of the International Association of Exhibitions and Events, effective in October. DuBois succeeds Steven Hacker, who has been president of IAEE for the past 20 years. Hacker has formed a company, Bravo Management, to consult on exhibition, marketing and association issues. He also will be a featured columnist at Association News. DuBois has headed up the Fort Worth bureau since 2007, and has served in senior executive positions with Meeting Professionals International, the Professional Convention Management Association, Ritz-Carlton Hotel Co. and Sheraton Hotels and Resorts.
