Dubow resigns as Gannett chairman-CEO

McLean, Va.—Gannett Co., publisher of USA Today, said that Craig A. Dubow has resigned from his post as chairman-CEO of the company due to disability. The company said he took a leave of absence last month related to prior medical conditions. Marjorie Magner, an independent director since 2006, has been named nonexecutive chairman. Gracia C. Martore, previously the company's president-COO, was named president-CEO.
