Wilmington, Del.--DuPont announced Friday the formation of an e-commerce joint venture with Internet Capital Group. CapSpan hopes to accelerate the development of b-to-b e-commerce, initially targeting areas such as apparel, chemicals, construction and e-procurement. Erik Fyrwald, DuPont's VP-e-commerce and new business development, will become CEO of CapSpan. Skip Maner, Internet Capital Group's VP-acquisitions, will become COO of the joint venture, which will be based in Wayne, Pa.
