Published on .

Paris--The Global Business Dialog on Electronic Commerce, an industry group that monitors international regulatory efforts regarding b-to-b and consumer sales over the Internet, agreed on a policy outline Monday at its annual conference. Most of the announced tenets center on companies self-regulating their Web sales programs and seeking to minimize government intervention in e-commerce. B-to-b heavyweights such as IBM Corp., Armonk, N.Y., and Dell Computer Corp., Round Rock, Texas, are members of the group.
