Chicago--It's been a busy week for b-to-b e-marketplace partnerships and mergers. On Tuesday, two construction industry markets, Bidcom.com and Cephren.com, merged. Thursday, two separate deals went down. Consumer packaged goods industry marketplace Transora, Chicago, said it will partner with independent markets Novopoint.com and Foodtrader.com Inc. to develop joint pilot programs for moving transactions between the different marketplaces. Separately, the airline Net market AirNewco and aerospace manufacturer hub MyAircraft.com said they would merge their marketplaces. The combined company will focus on five areas: maintenance and engineering; fuel and fuel services; catering and cabin services; airport support services; and general procurement. Finally, industry marketplace SeafoodAlliance.com said Friday it has signed a letter of intent to work with independent Gofish.com Inc. SeafoodAlliance will use Gofish as its e-commerce and marketplace engine.
