E.piphany, HAHT land customers for b-to-b solutions

San Mateo, Calif.--Fast-rising E.piphany said Tuesday that Xerox Corp., Rochester, N.Y., will use its software to track customer buying, satisfaction and loyalty, while HAHT Software, Raleigh, N.C., said its software was installed to provide Internet customer support services to Printronix, Irvine, Calif. The pair of deals underscores the trend toward Internet customer relationship management, which is expected to be a hot trend in 2000. E.piphany said IBM Corp. will oversee integration of its software with Xerox's existing Web site, sales force and marketing infrastructure. HAHT said Printronix linked all of its business customers to information stored in its SAP R/3 enterprise resource planning system using its code.
