San Jose, Calif.--Ebay Inc. and TradeOut.com have entered a broad online marketing and linking pact. The deal gives TradeOut.com a big visibility boost and deepens eBay's involvement in b-to-b. Ebay will begin running banner ads and posting links to TradeOut.com, a b-to-b excess inventory exchange. TradeOut.com, meanwhile, will begin offering links to the eBay Business Exchange, which rolled out in March. The pact underscores a deepening relationship between eBay and Valhalla, N.Y.-based TradeOut.com, in which eBay has invested. TradeOut.com also recently signed an extensive Web marketing deal with Morgan Stanley Dean Witter & Co.
