EBreviate lands Home Depot

Walnut Creek, Calif.--In a major customer win, Internet strategic sourcing company eBreviate Inc. said it has won a 12-month contract from The Home Depot Inc., Atlanta, to provide negotiating software applications to the retailer. Terms of the contract were not disclosed. Home Depot, with revenues of $45.74 billion in the fiscal year ended Jan. 28, is one of the largest retailers to date to tap a strategic sourcing software vendor. EBreviate is a subsidiary of Electronic Data Systems Corp., Plano, Texas.
