Editor in chief named at 'Power'

New York--McGraw-Hill Cos.’ Platts division announced Thursday that Robert Peltier has been appointed editor in chief of Power magazine. Peltier joined the magazine’s editorial staff in 2002 as senior editor after working as a contributing editor for several years. He has worked for various companies in the power industry, including San Diego Gas & Electric Co., Energy Factors Inc. (now Sithe Energies), Solar Turbines Inc. and Stewart & Stevenson Services (now part of General Electric Power Systems). He also was a tenured professor at Arizona State University, where he taught power-related courses.
