Editor’s exit is latest departure from InfoWorld

Published on .

Framingham, Mass.—Steve Fox, who was editor of IDG’s InfoWorld, has left the company. His departure is the latest in a string of exits from InfoWorld, which in March stopped publishing its print version in favor of the Web and events. Fox, who has joined Affinity Labs, is being succeeded by IDG veteran Eric Knorr. Fox’s departure follows the exit in recent weeks of InfoWorld CEO Bob Ostrow and Kate Hobbie, VP-online sales. Ostrow was succeeded by Matt Sweeney, CEO of Computerworld, who will oversee both Computerworld and InfoWorld.
