Seattle—iCopyright announced Thursday that Andrew Elston is taking over as CEO of the company, succeeding company founder Mike O’Donnell, who will continue to serve on the iCopyright board. Elston has been with iCopyright for four years and most recently served as VP-publisher services.

“My first priorities will be expanding sales and working with our publisher clients to get the technology more broadly deployed,” Elston said in a statement.

iCopyright enables users to obtain reprints, rights and permissions from online publications. It also offers a content monitoring and infringement detection service for publishers.
