Emerson rolls out global ad campaign

Published on .

St. Louis—Emerson this week is rolling out a $10.5 million ad campaign designed to show how the company is solving energy problems for global customers with innovative solutions.

The campaign, called “It’s Never Been Done Before,” is an extension of Emerson’s “Consider It Solved” campaign, which debuted in 2001. DDB Chicago created the latest effort, which includes TV, radio, print, online and outdoor.

The campaign breaks with four TV spots—“Orange,” “Wood,” “Coal” and “Ice”—which show how Emerson is addressing problems in heating, cooling, power and energy efficiency.

Print ads are running in The Wall Street Journal and The Economist.

The campaign is aimed at the top 200 executives within the leading global 1,000 companies, including C-level executives, engineering leaders, division heads and procurement managers.
