Engage casts deal with Flycast

Andover, Mass.--Flycast Communications Corp., San Francisco, and Engage Technologies, Andover, Mass., have entered into a partnership designed to give marketers more precise targeting of their Web campaigns. Flycast said it would use Engage's AudienceNet, the company's database of 35 million anonymous user profiles in 800 categories. The deal is significant in part because of Flycast's volume--25 million direct response advertisements sent monthly for clients, including many business-to-business marketers. The deal is an effort to generate even higher response rates.
