New York—The McGraw-Hill Cos.’ Engineering News-Record has an associate editor, Tom Sawyer, traveling with the U.S. Army’s 130th Engineering Brigade in the war in Iraq. Sawyer hasfiled reports detailing how the brigade’s armored Caterpillar D9 bulldozers prepared to ease the infantry’s passage through the earthen berms, ditches and electrified concertina wire that separate Iraqfrom Kuwait.
