Enquisite rebrands as Eightfold Logic, hires CMO

San Francisco—Search engine marketing and optimization company Enquisite has changed its name to Eightfold Logic and hired Rand Schulman as CMO, a newly created position at the company.

Schulman will continue to serve as principal with b-to-b strategy consulting practice Schulman+Thorogood Group. He's also served as CMO at Inside View and WebSide Story, was founder and CEO of Keylime Software, and was a co-founder of the Web Analytics Association.

Earlier this month the company gained $5.2 million in a second round of financing. The infusion was led by new investor Rho Canada Ventures, joining prior investors Castile Ventures, The Entrepreneurs' Fund III, Formative Ventures and Retro Venture Partners.
