ETranslate gets $18M from group of investors

San Francisco--ETranslate Inc., a b-to-b developer of software that support international Web sites, has received $18 million in venture capital financing from investment firms including GE Capital Corp., Alloy Ventures and Crystal Internet Ventures. ETranslate, whose clients include Microsoft Corp., will use the money to develop and market localization software. ETranslate, which also has offices in London and Tokyo, helps b-to-b companies translate Web sites and e-marketing initiatives into languages including Spanish, French and Japanese.
