Event Management Services adds direct response ad capabilities

Tampa, Fla.—Event Management Services on Friday announced it will add direct response advertising services to its capabilities.

The company, whose core business is providing talk radio guests to broadcasters, said it will now have production capabilities for direct response TV and radio advertising.

EMSI hired Bob Francis as VP-direct response advertising to head the new operation. Francis created “8 Minute Abs,” a 60-second TV commercial that generated more than $20 million in sales over 18 months, EMSI said.
