EWayDirect adds social media sharing to e-mail

Southport, Conn.—Online marketing company eWayDirect Inc. has upgraded its Direct|Connect e-marketing platform to allow the sharing of standard e-mail campaigns with such social communities as Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Digg and MySpace. The new Direct|Connect 4.0 includes analytics that tracks the number of times an e-mail is shared, viewed and clicked on. Another new feature allows for the creation of branded social communities, such as corporate-owned forums, discussion groups and other social interactions, the company said.
