New York—News Corp. on Wednesday added two of its senior executives to the management ranks of Dow Jones & Co.

Ian Weston has shifted from corporate development director of News International Ltd. in the U.K. to senior VP-special projects at Dow Jones. Mark Jackson has been moved from associate general counsel of News Corp. subsidiary HarperCollins to general counsel of Dow Jones. Jackson succeeds Joseph Stern, who recently left Dow Jones.

The moves come a week after News Corp. officially took charge of Dow Jones, publisher of The Wall Street Journal and Barron's, among many other assets.
