Chicago--One of the top developers of b-to-b marketing lists, Experian, said Friday that has added an additional 200,000 names to its business database, along with analysis tools designed to let marketers make business decisions based on its data. Orange, Calif.-based Experian said it has added analysis software code that denies business transactions if a business prospect does not meet credit criteria. The information, which is being developed for real-time use on the Web, could prove a critical piece of Internet trading exchanges, where businesses will be encountering new sets of business trading partners that they could potentially know very little about. The announcement was made at the Direct Marketing to Business trade show in Chicago.
