Zenith competed for the pitch against several agencies, including incumbents Bcom3 Group’s Starcom Media-Vest Worldwide, Interpublic Group of Cos.’ Universal McCann and Omnicom Group’s Optimum Media Direction Worldwide. Zenith and Aegis Group’s Carat were the only non-incumbents.

Zenith Media Worldwide, New York, will be responsible for ExxonMobil’s advertising account, including global media buying for its Fuel Marketing Co. and Lubes Marketing Co.
