Hicksville, N.Y.—Facebook is the top global brand in General Sentiment's “Q3 2012 Global Brands Report,” released last week.
The report ranks global brands based on a proprietary methodology that uses social media analytics to measure a brand's perceived media value.
Apple is the No. 2 brand, followed by Google. Rounding out the top 10 global brands are: MTV, Amazon, Samsung, Microsoft, Hewlett-Packard, Disney and Yahoo.
