Fair Isaac changes name to FICO

Published on .

Minneapolis—Fair Isaac Corp., a decision management technology company that develops the FICO credit scoring system, has changed its name to FICO in order to simplify its brand, according to the company.

“By adopting the name FICO for the whole company, we’re following the lead of many of our clients, who have called us FICO for years,” said CEO Mark Greene in a letter to clients and colleagues. The company also introduced a redesigned Web site at www.fico.com to reflect the name change.
