Fairchild agrees to license JCK brand from Reed Exhibitions

New York—Fairchild Publications announced an agreement in principle to license the JCK brand from Reed Elsevier's Reed Exhibitions.

The JCK Events group at Reed Exhibitions took control of JCK, which covers the jewelry industry, and JCK online from Reed Business Information earlier this year. As part of the arrangement, Fairchild's WWD will create a WWD/JCK magazine.

JCK will continue to be published by Reed through March. The new WWD/JCK and its companion Web site will debut in April. Reed Exhibitions retains the rights to the JCK brand and JCK.
