Fairchild Publications shutters ‘Children’s Business’

Published on .

New York—Fairchild Publications is ceasing publication of Children’s Business, company President Mary Berner said. The October issue is the last for the title. Fairchild introduced Children’s Business in 1985 for retailers in the children’s apparel, accessories, footwear and licensed products businesses. Coverage of those markets is being shifted to Fairchild’s flagship, Women’s Wear Daily, and Footwear News, Berner said. Fairchild is a division of Condé Nast Publications.
