New York--Foote, Cone & Belding, New York, has landed media planning and creative duties for Qwest Communications. The account, with estimated billings of $100 million, had been handled by DDB in Chicago for the past four months. FCB will soon begin working on a broadcast, print and direct mail campaign, which will focus on Qwest's re-entry into long-distance within its 14-state local service region. The win came without a review. Media buying duties, now at OMD, have yet to be assigned.
