FedEx debuts TV campaign

New York—FedEx debuted two new TV spots, “Mannequin” and “Caddy,” during the broadcast of the FedEx Orange Bowl on Tuesday.

The spots support FedEx’s sponsorship of the FedEx Cup/PGA Tour, a new sports sponsorship for FedEx.

Additional advertising will appear Thursday during the TV broadcast of the Mercedes-Benz Championship, a PGA Tour event in Maui, Hawaii.

FedEx said it is using more live sporting events in 2007 because they are more “DVR resistant.”

The TV spots were created by BBDO New York.
