FedEx to launch PGA-themed campaign

Memphis, Tenn.--FedEx Corp. announced Monday an agreement with the Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla.-based PGA Tour to launch a multi-channel marketing campaign that will promote FedEx with the tagline, “The most reliable player in the game.” The campaign will use PGATour.com, broadcast advertising, sponsorship of a season highlights special on NBC-TV and other media. FedEx has been the title sponsor of the FedEx St. Jude Classic since 1986, and the company entered a four-year corporate sponsorship agreement with the PGA Tour last year.
