FeedRoom acquires ClearStory Systems

Published on .

New York—Web video company The FeedRoom has completed its acquisition of ClearStory Systems, a digital asset management (DAM) software provider that helps marketing clients manage such digital marketing assets as graphics, documents and multimedia. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

ClearStory, based in Westborough, Mass., will become the New England headquarters for FeedRoom. Feedroom said it will add ClearStory's open-architecture DAM platform, ActiveMedia 7.5, to its own video platform—an integration that is expected to take six to 12 months—to increase its rich media capabilities.

The companies' combined technologies are intended to help marketing and media clients better integrate, manage and deliver digital media assets in a single system.
