Fellowes, Itasca, Ill.

Published on .

Company: Fellowes, Itasca, Ill.
Agency: Slack Barshinger, Chicago
Market: Office managers
Quick chase: The answer to balky technology is not to attack the device with a hammer or crowbar, or to attempt to pull it apart with pliers. For paper shredders, at least, the answer is to buy a machine that's guaranteed not to jam. There's a nice flow between the image of the Fellowes paper shredder and the headline: “Of all the ways to fix shredder jams only one makes sense.” Paper shredders are just another gray box in the workplace, but the art director allows this shredder to bask heroically in the light. Smartly arranged in the lower third of the ad are such elements as a photo of the product line, a yellow banner featuring the tagline and the logo.
Clue: And never use your fingers.
