New York--Despite the perceived popularity of pop-up ads, fewer than 10% of online advertisers used them during the first six months of this year, according to a Nielsen//NetRatings AdRelevance report released Wednesday. Advertisers purchased and launched 11.3 billion pop-up ad impressions, or 2% of the online advertising market, in the first half.
