Fewer b-to-b magazines shuttered this year than last

New York—The number of b-to-b magazines that closed this year in the U.S. and Canada totaled 120, according to data released Tuesday by MediaFinder.com, an online publications database.

That was fewer than in 2008 (147) and 2007 (158).

There were 85 b-to-b magazine launches in the U.S. and Canada this year.

Overall, 275 magazines launched this year in the U.S. and Canada, while 428 ceased publication.
