Financial services scoreboard commits $8 million to ads

Lincoln, Mass.--Gomez Advisors, which provides Internet companies with customer-satisfaction feedback, said Friday it has awarded an $8 million advertising account to DiMassimo, New York. Many specifics of the campaign have not yet been finalized. The campaign will support both Gomez Advisors, which sells market research to businesses, and Gomez.com, a site designed to help consumers decide where to spend their Internet dollars. Media strategy for the campaign will include TV, radio and Internet advertising with print noticeably absent from the game plan.
