Financial Times debuts app on Salesforce AppExchange

London—The Financial Times has launched the FT News Feed App on the Salesforce AppExchange. With the app, which is free to download, Salesforce users will automatically see topical FT headlines and can click through to FT.com for full stories. App users who click through to read the article on FT.com will follow the site's usual access model. While subscribers have access to FT content regardless of the device they use, nonsubscribers must register to see up to eight articles each month before a subscription is required. “Many of our corporate customers already use the FT as a way to improve their sales and account management performance,” said Caspar de Bono, managing director of b-to-b for Salesforce, in a statement. “By integrating key industry news into their work flow, they can stay informed of the changes affecting their customers, ultimately supporting more effective sales and sustainable business relationships.”
