‘Financial Times’ names global operations directors

New York—The Financial Times announced changes to its Global Print and Operations department.

Doug Morrow, who previously served as global production and distribution director, has assumed the role of global operations director of newspapers. Mhairi Swann, who was previously in charge of operations and production of FT Business publications, was named global operations director of magazines.

Morrow will be responsible for global printing and distribution of the Financial Times, which currently prints five editions at 23 plants around the world and distributes to 140 countries. Swann will be responsible for the printing and distribution of all magazines produced by the Financial Times, including How to Spend It, FT Weekend Magazine, FT Business titles and partnership publications, in addition to paper purchasing.
