‘Financial Times’ taps Zorthian as global circulation director

New York—The Financial Times on Thursday named Greg Zorthian to the newly created position of global circulation director. Zorthian will be responsible for growing the print circulation of the FT. The salmon-colored daily has a global circulation of 445,000, according to the Audit Bureau of Circulations for the six-month period ended June 30. U.S. circulation stands at 135,000, according to the ABC.

Since 2004, Zorthian has been VP-circulation for the U.S edition of FT. Prior to joining FT, he worked for Forbes Inc. and Time Inc., as well as other media companies.
