Flash developer hires Fallon McElligott

San Francisco--Macromedia, developer of such breakthrough Web design technologies as Shockwave, Dreamweaver and Flash, hired Monday advertising agency Fallon McElligott, Minneapolis, as agency of record. The move signals Macromedia's intention to launch an integrated brand campaign wrapped around its history of Internet innovation. Fallon McElligott and its design subsidiary, Duffy Design and Interactive, will handle online and off-line advertising campaigns, Web site design, package design, media planning and buying for Macromedia, San Francisco. Billings were not disclosed.
