Flight Safety International wins ABM’s Grand Littleford Award

New York--At American Business Media’s William D. Littleford Awards for Corporate Community Service luncheon July 17, Flight Safety International and its chairman, Al Ueltschi, won the Grand Littleford for their work on behalf of Orbis International, a nonprofit organization that flies eye doctors around the world to give care and instruction. The organization was nominated by Aviation Week & Space Technology and Business & Commercial Aviation. The four other 2004 Littleford Award winners were: Bon Appetit Management Co., nominated by FoodService Director; The Home Depot, nominated by Home Channel News; STRIVE, nominated by PC World; and Computer Associates, nominated by InfoWorld. The awards are named for William D. Littleford, chairman emeritus of BPI Communications.
