Florida list brokerage buys Statlistics

Published on .

Fort Myers, Fla.—List brokerage company Alesco Group has acquired sales contact and list management company Statlistics Inc. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Statlistics, based in Danbury Conn., manages the rental of publisher subscriber lists and has expanded into Internet and email marketing, services that will complement Alesco's offerings, Alesco said in a statement. Statlistics' co-owners, CEO John Papalia and COO-CFO Donna Buckner, will remain with the company; Statlistics will continue to operate under its own name. This is the second announced sale of Statlistics this year. In March, Larry Organ, CEO of Chicago-based direct marketing company ConsumerBase, said he had reached an agreement to acquire Statlistics. That deal never materialized.
