New York—Forbes.com recently launched a standalone travel Web site, Forbestraveler.com. The site, which caters to luxury advertisers, includes a travel booking search engine, travel tips, and recommendation on hotels and restaurants produced in concert with Frommer’s Travel Guides and Mobile Travel Guides. Barry Golson, former editor in chief of the defunct Yahoo! Internet Life, is  editor of the site. Also, Forbes.com has upgraded its online video network. The network, which produces on average 10 to 15 programs every business day, now offers advertisers three in-program ad options: pre-roll, mid-roll and post-roll. The upgrade also includes iTunes compatibility and e-mail and RSS options.
